Aiming Incorporated is once again pleased to announce that it has obtained an official business permit to operate in the Philippines. Aiming Global Service, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aiming Incorporated, will begin its official business operations on August 1, 2012.
As the smartphone becomes more popular on a global scale, we believe that it is essential for our corporate development to expand the online contents business world-wide. Taking into consideration various conditions in setting up a location for operations service for English-speaking territories, and as we also believe in the necessity for an English business development environment, we decided on establishing a subsidiary in the Philippines.
AGS will focus on user support and community management. However, we also plan to monitor and operate the infrastructure for Aiming’s titles on a worldwide basis, including Japan. In the future, we plan to support other developers who are seeking to distribute their games overseas.
Aiming Global Service is Aiming’s third overseas office, with Aiming Korea and Aiming Taiwan also currently in operations. As a PEZA-approved (see Note 1) entity, our Philippine office currently has 15 staffs employed as of August 1st.
By cooperating with other overseas offices, Aiming Global Service will carry forth Aiming’s overseas services for its contents.
